VPI mica tape is built up with mica paper as base material and epoxy tape adhesion as binder to bind on the one of its surface with alkali-free glass cloth as its reinforcing material. It is perfectly flexible under the normal temperature and can be processed by vacuum pressure impregnating technology(VPI) together with impregnate resin compatible with the mica and thus be solidified into mica tape after that.. Owing to the high mica content and excellent electrical function, it is noted as the ideal insulation material for the large and medium size high tension electrical machinery processing with VPI technology.
